2023 Vol. 03
I placed a man named Glenn on the prayer list who needed a miracle to recover from a grand mal seizure. He has experienced seizures since his mid-teens, but this one was the most severe, landing him in the hospital for 3 weeks. In the hospital, the doctors didn’t know if he’d recover or even be able to function, so I requested prayer for Glenn’s healing through CHM’s website. Glenn’s doctors later said it was a miracle that he survived, and not just survived but can function, talk, etc. He is now in physical therapy to strengthen his legs and is improving. I have been seeking healing of my Ulcerative Colitis (pan colitis, which means the entire colon is affected), which I’ve had for 10 years. Today, I had my annual colonoscopy, and the results are that my entire colon is “normal” for the first time in nearly a decade! God healed me through the ministry of CHM.—Kaitie (Zoom Prayer Appt)Over the course of completing the 4 Levels of School of Healing Prayer® a couple of years ago, I asked for prayer twice during the practicum times. I asked to be able to bear children, having been through three pregnancy losses. As I write now, I am looking at our 9-month-old son, John, who playing with his toys on our living room floor! He was conceived less than one month after my last training and prayer time with fellow CHM School of Healing Prayer® participants. I clearly remember how touched I was by the powerful prayers lifted up on my behalf during the CHM online practicum, and my heart is full. I asked for prayer for the physical healing of my father when he had to have heart surgery for a very serious problem. I am happy to report my father made it through the surgery and is making a miraculous recovery! Thank you for partnering with me in prayer! I went to Journey to Healing to seek healing for my eyes (glaucoma and macular degeneration). Through the prayer I received, I can now see better, but am not yet fully healed. To my surprise, I also received emotional healing for childhood wounds that had crippled me my entire life. I recognized them as lies but didn’t know how to break free of them…until I realized I had been set free through prayer.Recently, I was cleaning my bedroom and found a list of lies about myself that I had previously written on the back of an envelope; that I was loathsome, I didn’t matter, unworthy, alone, unsafe, provide for self, deprived, among others. Now, this list doesn’t resonate or trigger at all. These strongholds seem like a lifetime ago! I feel free for the first time in my life! —Shirley (JTH)
