A Healing Place

Dear Friends:

We all know that Jesus spent most of his three years of ministry preaching and healing the sick. Unfortunately, over the centuries, the actual praying for the sick gradually diminished in importance, but now many Christians and churches are rediscovering the “pearl of great price.” Christian Healing Ministries (CHM) is one of the best–known and highly regarded groups that is dedicated to letting the Church and the world know that God still heals the sick on every level — physical, emotional and spiritual. CHM is dedicated to helping Christians recapture this glorious vision.

And it’s not only a vision! It has become a reality as over the past quarter of a century, CHM has taught and prayed for thousands of sick people. CHM has been a bridge builder, being asked to give conferences by many different churches, including Catholics (the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Service in Rome), Presbyterians (the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh), Pentecostals (King’s College and Seminary, founded by Jack Hayford) and evangelicals (Asbury Seminary). Three bishops, along with internationally known Christian leaders, serve on CHM’s Board of Directors. CHM is known for having a balanced teaching on how to pray for healing to which most Christian churches can relate and then practice.

Also, CHM is known for the Schools of Healing Prayer that have taught thousands how best to pray for the sick, for the dozen books that we have written (and have been translated into twenty languages), and for the CHM newsletter, The Healing Line, which goes to 18,000 readers.

CHM is one of those special places where people are being used by God to bring knowledge, hope and miracles of healing into daily life. Now, it is time for CHM to take the next step in God’s plan for the ministry. We need a larger facility, but more importantly we must build a place that embodies beauty and love in a natural setting where God can touch us all: a permanent place for CHM to do God’s work! We pray that God will inspire you to help Christian Healing Ministries restore the fullness of Jesus Christ’s healing ministry to the Church and to the world. We humbly ask you to take time to pray about whether God is asking you to invest in this life–transforming ministry.
